Purpose of St. Nick's Local Outreach/Missions
The purpose of the Local Outreach ministry is to make a significant difference in the lives of people who are in need in our community by sharing the love of Christ in word and deeds.


Strategic Partnerships  with local organizations: Supported financially by St. Nick's.  
  
Advocacy & Pregnancy Center– located in Lewisville, provides pregnancy tests; pregnancy care counseling; information about abortion procedures and risks, prenatal development, sexually transmitted diseases, single parenting, and adoption; and material assistance in the form of maternity clothes, baby clothes, baby food, formula, and diapers.

Austin Street Shelter– located in Dallas, provides emergency shelter and related services to the homeless person in a compassionate Christian environment, and more than 400 men, women and children receive safe shelter here each night.

Christian Community Action(CCA)– located in Lewisville, ministers to the poor by providing comprehensive services that alleviate suffering, bring hope and change lives, and in one year assists more than 12,000 individuals.
